Shows
Body Lab hosts a free community Christmas Spectacular and an end-of-year Spring Show for recreational classes, plus a Company Showcase for performance-team dancers. Dates are announced each season — the pages below describe the shows, not a leftover ticket campaign.
Annual Community Event
A free community show showcasing the art of dance. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited. Typical programming includes Ages 3–6 classes, Body Lab Performance Academy, the hip hop companies, Aerial Company, Kick Lab, and guest school teams.
When a show date is announced it is usually a Sunday afternoon at the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center. Business sponsorships and personal gifts help produce the event — email frontdesk@bodylabtx.com if you want to be on the list for this year's date.
Recreational Showcase
A showcase for Body Lab recreational classes, with guest performances by the performance companies. Younger-beginner classes have participated in an end-of-year Spring Show since Fall 2018. Most training-focused classes for ages 12+ do not have a yearly recital.
Recent productions have used the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center, with a youth-show day and a company-show day. Parent packets, flower pre-sales, and rehearsal calls go out through the parent portal when a season is on the calendar.
Company Dancers
A showcase for company solos, duos, trios, and ensembles — crafted for members of Body Lab Performance Academy, the hip hop companies, and the kick companies to perform for friends and family.
When scheduled, it typically shares the spring-show weekend at LTHS Performing Arts Center. Company families receive the parent packet and show order through the studio.
