Body Lab is always looking for new talent to inspire this next generation of dancers. If you have a desire to teach, please email your resume to frontdesk@bodylabtx.com.
We're a dance, aerial, and fitness studio in Spicewood, TX, built on a love of performance and a belief that great teachers change lives. As we grow, we're looking for instructors who light up a room, hold high standards, and genuinely care about every student who walks through our doors.
Whether you specialize in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tumbling, aerial, or drill & kick — if you love to teach, we want to hear from you.
Experience matters, but heart matters more. The instructors who thrive here share a few things in common:
Real training in your discipline — whether from the stage, the studio, the competition floor, or a strong collegiate or professional background.
Patient, encouraging, and able to connect with dancers of every age and level, from wobbly first-timers to advanced competitive athletes.
You show up on time, come with a plan, communicate clearly, and follow through. Families and teammates can count on you.
You lift others up, share ideas, and add to a positive, supportive culture both on and off the floor.
A bonus if you can choreograph, set competition pieces, and prep dancers for recitals, conventions, and the stage.
You're always learning, open to feedback, and excited to keep raising your craft — and your students — to the next level.
Pay that reflects your experience and the value you bring to our dancers.
Schedules that work around your life, school, or other commitments.
A close-knit, supportive group of co-workers who genuinely enjoy what they do.
Opportunities to lead classes, build companies, and develop as an educator.
Owner Heather O'Hara has been a dance educator in Texas for over 30 years — a former Radio City Rockette, Cirque du Soleil artist, and cruise ship performer/choreographer who has successfully run two studios and built an incredible team of young educators. Heather isn't just building a business; she's cultivating a strong, supportive community of instructors and students who share a love for dance and uplift one another. When you join Body Lab, you join that community.
