Hannah Bacon-Brightwell is a native of Southwest Louisiana. She has been active as a teacher, student, and choreographer for over 10 years. After training and performing through her youth, she attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana, studied Business Administration, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. In college she furthered her training in modern and contemporary dance and choreography, danced with the NSU Modern Dance Troupe, and served as captain and choreographer of the NSU Demon Dazzler Dance Line for three years.
After college she became a member of 2BTribe Professional Modern Dance Company in Natchitoches, LA. She has been an honored member of the National Dance Alliance for over 10 years as a head instructor and judge throughout the country. She now serves the Austin dance community as the artistic director for Verge Dance Company and a senior instructor at Alisa's Dance Academy.
